Stiwdio Maelor Residency
For the past week, we at Tyler's publicity team have been twiddling our thumbs with little to do, since he has been off-the-radar, and offline, working steadily at Stiwdio Maelor, in the town of Corris, where he had been accepted for an Artist's Residency. Now that he's back, Tyler seems to have a distinctly serene aura and asked us to write a blog post thanking the Stiwdio, and the founder and director, Veronica Calarco, for welcoming him and enabling him to get such good work done. Thanks are due as well to fellow resident, artist and filmmaker Justin Time, who - it turned out - had just completed a documentary film on road trips. So there seemed to be some synchronicity at work, seeing as that is one of Tyler's areas of interest (what with being the author of a road novel). As for Tyler's current project(s), you can find out a bit more on the Maelor website, which features his application proposal. The Studio operates on a not-for-profit basis and is entirely self-funded, with the admirable goal of supporting artists working in a wide ranges of genres and mediums. So please spread the word and, if you have a project in need of time and attention, why not consider applying?
