Penfro Book Festival

Next weekend I'll be heading to one of my favourite parts of Wales - and the world, actually - for the Penfro Book Festival.  It's my first time at the festival, and it was a real privilege to be invited, as it's hard to beat Pembrokeshire for sun, sand, surf, introspection, and inspiration.  Since coming to Wales I've returned there again and again, and have hiked the Pembrokeshire Coast Path pretty much in its entirety (though not all at the same time - we're not that hardcore).  This time I'll be heading to Rhosygilwen for an event on Sunday September 14th, with Cynan Jones.  We'll be flexing our literary muscles and discussing work and masculinity, both of which feature prominently in our latest books.  The festival runs the whole weekend, and the rest of the line-up is well worth checking out.  If the weather holds the backdrop will be stunning, and if it doesn't there's a bevvy of pubs to seek shelter in.
